[eu-gene] name that tune generator

i am trying to find a reference to a music generator system.
i'm sure you guys have heard of it.  it reads a corpus of work
by a composer and uses some statistical model to generate
new works.  i believe it was good enough that one of its
synthetic bach-style pieces fooled several humans into
thinking it was original.  of course there are many such
systems but this one was particularly good.  can anyone
remember the name?  thanks, -spot
