hi elina,
essentially, this works like cathodic protection against corrosion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathodic_protection) but it's accelerated by applying voltage to the metals.
i could make you a sketch of the setup, if you like.

I'm interested in hearing from (or about) folks making generative art mostly or entirely without computers. I.e. the determining system is not software based. Also it should have been executed in the last 3 or 4 years...more recent is better.
