hi douglas,
your classes at the TU look very interesting, I will be in Berlin during this time as well - would be great to visit if possible.
I have also been working on developing generative feedback systems for sound art objects. A recent piece, (that is currently in re-development) is a semi-self aware object that analyzes and acts in response to a cross-modal feedback loop. The design is based on three light filters cut into different shapes and mounted to stepper motors. The object uses a visual analysis of the shapes of the filters as a musical score, which it performs by turning the stepper motors at different frequencies and unwittingly re-organizes the score of light filters.

cheers,

It could be literal feedback (audio, video, bio), systems control feedback, conceptual feedback, anything really. I'd love to hear about some pieces/artists that you're interested in that involve feedback in a very broad sense.
