Loved the pieces by Jörg Lehni and Gene Kogan.

In 2006 I made "CAP" (Computer Aided Poetry), with versions in English and Spanish. I've been using the Spanish version a lot, which works as follows:

1. Get a verse from the user and translate it to English using Google
2. Substitute the words in the English verse for their synonyms (if any) ... taken from thesaurus.reference.com
3. Translate the verse back into Spanish, again using Google.

I've written a lot of poems using this algorithm, and even published a book. Here are some links:

About my book, "El drama del lavaplatos" (all in Spanish)

A review, including some poems: http://latormentaenunvaso.blogspot.com/2010/07/el-drama-del-lavaplatos-eugenio.html

If you want to have the book, please contact me.

Cheers,
Eugenio.
